  • To keep fans from leaving me
    Tips 2024. 6. 25. 16:54

When fans start subscribing to your channel, it's great.
And you want those subscriptions to last as long as possible.

But just wishing for it doesn't make it happen.
Creators need to put in the work to create long-lasting fans.

To make them stay subscribed for a long time,
it's important to think about what you can do for them.

Today, we're going to share a few tried-and-true, data-proven strategies from the Pantry.

    #1. Annual memberships

Subscriptions are renewed monthly by default,
but you can also make it a yearly subscription (3 months, 6 months, etc.)

For fans who subscribe in advance for a longer period of time,
you could offer a deep discount or an event.

You can also offer a yearly subscription discount for a limited time.
In your Creator Account, go to [Settings] - [Membership] - [Subscription rate settings],

You can set a discount percentage by selecting [Term discount].

You can also offer discounts of up to 50% for people who sign up for a 12-month subscription.

If you're not sure how much of a discount to offer and for how long,
it's a good idea to reach out to your sales representatives to discuss.

Once you have fans who subscribe to you regularly,
you'll be able to create better content for them, right?

If you've actually discounted a yearly membership significantly,
over the course of a full year
more fans stick around for a longer period of time.

    #2. Utilize polls

Each Fantrie post can have one poll attached to it.
You can have up to ten options per question.

Fan feedback is crucial to keep things moving.

Not all of your fans are active enough to actively comment or respond to group DMs,

so having a poll that only requires a single choice is a great way to get to know more of them.

    #3. Utilize Group DMs

    It really matters.

Fans want to connect with their favorite creators,
and they always want to know how they're doing and what they're up to.

Someone they don't even know exists in the world,
that they don't even know exists in the world.

I hope that what I'm saying reaches their favorite creators,
and hopefully, sometimes, you get a response back.

Because a lot of people are watching.
I'm sure there are some people who aren't good at commenting.

That's why I encourage fans to feel free to say what they want to say in DM.
Encourage your fans to say what they want to say.

Feeling connected to your favorite people
will keep them subscribing and supporting you for years to come,
and support for years to come.

#4. Do something for your followers regularly

I mentioned this in another post [https://fantrieblog.tistory.com/20],
    Fantrie has a follow feature.

Very likely to lead to a subscription,
I guess you can think of it as a pre-subscription step that keeps an eye on you.

Fans who were subscribed but decided to take a break are also categorized into the
are categorized into the follow group.

Even if they don't subscribe to you right now,
they'll still be able to keep up with what you're up to.
You should check in with them regularly.

Full public posts that can also be read by people who follow you,
group DMs that are also targeted to your followers.
