#1. The fan-artist relationship

The Fantrie is a space that connects fans and artists, and is centered around fans, artists, and the creative process.
It's also the most intuitive place for fans to be fans and artists to be artists.

So we have a lot of conversations every day about how we can make this space better for each other, and how the fan-artist relationship can have a place in the Fantrie.

What we're introducing today is one of the results of those discussions.
It's called Pebbles.

When you hear the word PEBBLE, you probably think of something similar.
A pebble? A rock?

That's right.

#2. PEBBLES

 

Pebbles are just another pebble to the unknowing, but to someone else,

they're a treasure to be treasured for years to come.

Like a pebble that's been worn smooth by the waves over time,

a creator's work is the result of many hours of hard work.

A pebble is a pebble that's been polished with more care and attention.
You want to leave a shining moment, and you want to keep it,

both for yourself and for the fans who love you.

#3. It becomes your story

Fans buy your stuff, engage with you offline, attend your performances and events,

hashtag and upload to social media.

 

They get excited when they read their feedback on their communication channels because their fan activity has become part of the story that makes up the creator.

From that moment on, they become a piece of the star, instead of just one person watching.

Little by little, the fan becomes the creator.


#4. Pebbles, a digital limited edition

Pebbles are limited editions.

It's not a new concept.
We've already lived through a lot of limited editions.

Pebbles is a digital limited edition that allows artists

to create, release, and sell their work directly.

Limited editions can come in many different ways,

but we decided to focus on two of them.

Quantity and timeframe.

 

 

 

Limited editions shouldn't be something you can buy anytime.
(limited availability)

And it shouldn't be available to everyone in the world.
(limited quantity)

These two things are the basics.
Only fans who have been paying attention will have a chance.

#5. Affection is a two-way street

When you like someone, it's only human to want them to know that you care about them and want them to know that you love them.

The cheer and support that fans give to creators is mostly one-way.

They have a vague sense of being connected, but they're not really connected.
Many fans want creators to "communicate" with them.

However, there are many practical challenges.

 

That's not just a problem for superstars with millions of followers.
It's true for most creators, too.

A fan who only follows you and watches from afar doesn't carry the same weight as a fan who actively supports you and is interested in everything you do.

Fans who are more genuine to a creator than others should be able to get closer.

At Fantrie, we thought long and hard about how we could positively impact each other.
And we found the answer.

Pebbles, a reflection of the hearts of both fans and creators.
