Supernova's Sungmo announces the release of his new album 'ADAMAS' via Fantrie

 

Multi-talented entertainer Sungmo, formerly a member of idol group Supernova, has announced the release of his first new album in three and a half years.

Through his global fan cafe Fantrie, his posted a photo of a microphone in the studio with the message, "Recording after two and a half years. What kind of songs will come out? Let's focus," along with a photo of a microphone in the studio. The singer announced his return to the spotlight in April with a successful concert in Yokohama after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus, and is now preparing to return to his fans with a new album.

The title of the new album, which will be released in July, is "ADAMAS," which is also the root of the word diamond and means "unchanging no matter what" in Greek, and reflects his desire for a new beginning and his gratitude to his fans who have been patiently waiting for his to resume his career.

Sungmo made his debut as a member of Supernova in 2007 and continued to perform with the group until his contract expired in 2018, and is still known as one of their most popular members, especially in Japan. He has continued to work as an actor and singer in both Korea and Japan, and this fall, he is set to star in the upcoming film Ransom, which will be released in Japan.
