Frank Store Successfully Hosts K-pop Event 'A Night in Hongdae,' Drawing Local Fan Interest

Frankstore (CEO: Baek Seung-jae), the operator of Fantrie, announced today (the 2nd) that the K-pop club party held in Brooklyn, New York, concluded successfully.

Held at Silver Factory, a club in the heart of Brooklyn, "A Night in Hongdae" was a collaborative event planned by Fantrie along with prominent DJs and local hosts in New York. The event kicked off on the evening of Friday, January 6, 2023 (local time), and continued into the early morning hours.

The party was hosted by Sarah Ocul (Instagram: @sarahocul_), a runway model from New York Fashion Week, and featured a four-hour DJ set by DJ Chen (Instagram: @djchenofficial), who is active primarily on the East Coast.

In October, Fantrie participated in Comic Con, the world's largest subculture event, marking the first time a domestic creator business platform company joined the event. Through this K-pop party, Fantrie aims to promote and spread Korean culture while exploring entry into the North American market.

K-pop fans who attended the event shared their excitement, saying, "I was really happy to mingle with people who love K-pop," and "I wish K-pop-related performances would be held more frequently. I want to experience and enjoy more aspects of Korean culture."

Baek Seung-jae, CEO of Frankstore, commented, "K-pop is already globally recognized, and it is significant that we successfully hosted such an event in the heart of New York. We will do our best to create opportunities to promote Korean culture."
