Salon de Oh Soo-kyung Releases Fourth Studio Album "Confession of a Madman"

 

[Asia News Communication = Lee Sang-jin] The four-member jazz band, 'Salon de Oh Soo-kyung,' announced the release of their fourth studio album, "Confession of a Madman," through leader Oh Soo-kyung's Fantrie channel.

The new album "Confession of a Madman" consists of a total of 8 tracks, filled with intense instrumental pieces that reflect the titles of each song, such as "Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder," "Adada the Idiot," "Hell Train," "Ruminations," and "Finally, Shaved Head."

Oh Soo-kyung has infused her personal story into this album. While previous albums leaned more towards narratives that refined her personal emotions, the tracks in this album confront Oh Soo-kyung's raw emotions more directly, starting from the titles themselves.

Oh Soo-kyung, the leader of the band 'Salon de Oh Soo-kyung,' won the Best Jazz Crossover Album at the 2014 Korean Music Awards with her debut album "Salon de Tango." Rooted in jazz but not confined to any single genre, she has built her own unique musical world. Oh Soo-kyung has composed all the songs in her previous albums as well as in this latest release. Celebrating her 10th anniversary this year, Oh Soo-kyung is currently preparing various cultural projects in collaboration with Fantrie.
